A Perfect Ten...

Oh, now I sea...

Ten years ago today a miracle happened...

The Walt Disney Company let someone else take their talent and ideas and create something better than they could/would do. They let someone else build their dreams. On this day a decade ago, Tokyo DisneySEA was born.

Born out of the collapse of Port Disney, Tokyo's Second Disney Gate is a masterpiece that all should see.

It is a prime example of what Disney and Imagineers are capable of if given the opportunity.

If you would like to know more about Tokyo DisneySEA or Port Disney click here. If you'd love some great wallpapers of it then get the Disney and More App for it here. If you'd like to go there then go to a travel site and book a trip now. And if you don't then I have to ask, why not?

Dreams are worth seeing as much as believing in...

TDS is definately beautiful and shows what can be done with enough money. I enjoyed Aquatopia and its floating cars the most. Other than that it really had poor shows that do not work. Later additions such as TOT and flying carpets are a step in the right direction.

The rides look lavish but fail...the biggest disapointment being the 20K ride that lacked realism without any water.

Journey to the center of the earth was like riding through a mindless cave with no story to it. Mushrooms and weird creatures one would assume were dreamed up in
a drug induced state line the caverns doing little other than stare and hover. Don't get me wrong..the styling is magnificent but rather unentertaining.

Bottom line..go see what Disney can do from a theme point and how all the money in the world could not save many of the poor attractions there.

Ever since I first heard about Tokyo DisneySEA at a Disney convention a long, LONG time ago, I have dreamed and wished that I could afford to go see this incredible Park. Someday, my wish will come true....

Yeah, it was disappointing that there was no little dinosaur to go find because he went missing.
